I've got my passport!!!

I've got my passport!!!
Mummy Cow is really impressed with ICA's efficiency.
Coz my passport was ready for collection in less than 3 days.

Eating on the Bed

Mummy Cow: Megan, don't eat your biscuit on Mummy's bed. Else the crumbs will fall on the bed & it'll be very messy!!!

Megan: But Mummy, the bed is hungry... If I don't feed the bed & it eats Baby Sara then how???

Mummy Cow: ...

Beco Carrier

Now that there are 2 kids, it is going to be very difficult to go out as a family.... Especially the smaller the traveler, the bigger the barang barang...

So Mummy Cow decided to buy a Beco Carrier for Sara since the existing carrier at home is not suitable for young babies & can be pretty hot (for both Mummy & kiddo) after short periods of use... (Daddy Cow, this is not an excuse hor!!! ;p)

And the Beco arrived this morning thru the post!!!

Using the Beco for the 1st time was pretty easy and very comfortable... & it also helped that Sara also didn't fuss that much.... Maybe because half the time she's trying to "taste"her new carrier???

Mummy Cow will try to take some photos of Sara in the Beco & post it on the blog... So keep a look out for it... :)

Photo Session for the 3 Girls (Cont...)

Early this morning, Mummy Cow (together with tons of Adults), brought Megan, Sara, Emma & Kayla to Marina Barrage for the long awaited photo shoot with Kelly of Kellsjy Photography...

Mummy Cow was pretty sure that the kids had tons of fun as they tried their hands at kite flying, chasing bubbles, playing at the water playground & visiting the "Sustainable Singapore" Gallery...

Another sure sign of how happy the kids were can also be measure by how super tired Mummy Cow was after the session... Since Mummy Cow had to entertain and clown around the kids to ensure that they gave their biggest smile for the camera!!! (Mummy Cow had no choice since she was the youngest amongst the Adults)... & Mummy Cow didn't even have a chance to take any photos using her camera... :(

But it was really a pity that the session was cut short no thanks to the rain & most of the outdoor areas were out-of-bounds due to lightning warnings... :(

Sigh...

Anyway, Mummy Cow will post some of the photos once she receives the photos from Kelly sometime next week...

(Daddy Cow, we should make a trip there when you're back. The view is really quite stunning. And I guess it'll look even better when the sun has set.)

I am 3 months old!!!

I am 3 months old!!! Time really passes by very quickly when you are without a care in the world.

A bit of update on my daily schedule (80% of the time):

7:00am-7:30am: Wakie wakie & milk milk please!!!

7:30am-9:30am: Playtime & occasional napping

9:30am-10:00am: Pong Pong followed by more milk milk

10:00am-6:00pm: More playtime & occasional napping with milk milk every 3 hours

6:00am-6:30pm: "Ma Sheng" & milk milk

6:30pm-8:00pm: Playtime & occasional napping

8:00pm-8:30pm: Change into my pajamas & last milk milk time before going to slumber land

8:30pm-3:30am: Zzz Zzz Zzz...

3:30am-4:30am: Milk milk please!!!

4:30am-7:00am: Zzz Zzz Zzz...

Mummy's notes: Think Sara is able to sleep for a long stretch at night coz her "occassional nappings" in the daytime rarely last more than 30 minutes.

MGS Alumnae

HA HA HA... After many years of procrastination, Mummy Cow has finally submitted her application to her old primary & secondary school - Methodist Girls' School.

And she has received the official approval today!!!

Mummy Cow has many fond memories of the 10 years spent studying in MGS... In fact Da Yi & Mummy Cow are the "2nd generation" in the family to have graduated from MGS... Por Por is the "1st generation"...

So hopefully Megan & Sara as well as Emma & Kayla, would follow in their footsteps & become the "3rd generation"...

Sara's having a Fever

Am running a fever now due to this morning's inoculations.
:(

That aside, my 3rd month development assessment results were great.
I've met all the milestones in my health booklet, even those meant for 4 months old babies.
:)

Vital stats from my 3rd month assessment
Weight: 5.60kg
Length: 56.0cm
Head Circumference: 39cm

Mummy's notes: Both girls seem to react very differently to their jabs. Megan didn't have any fever nor was she cranky after every jab. But poor Sara cried herself to sleep after the jab & is now running a fever... *Heart ache* lor...

Another interesting difference is how they behave when having a fever. For Megan, having a temp below 39degC isn't considered as having "fever". Coz she'll still be happily attentive & doing her stuff as per normal. And you won't even think that she's even remotely sick till you feel her body temperature.

But for Sara, her temp is only abt 37.8degC & she's already pretty cranky & looking very miserable. Her sleep also seems to be pretty disrupted... Guess Mummy will have to be up all night to monitor her condition.

Hopefully when Sara goes for her next round of jabs on 26 Aug, things would be better...

Applying for Passport

We were supposed to visit Daddy in Doha in July... But, due to H1N1 uncertainty, this trip had been postponed for awhile...

Now that I'm older (Going to be 5 months in Sept) & more has been learned of H1N1 (apparently more than 50% of all flu sufferers in Spore are infected with H1N1), we'll be flying up sometime in September...

But before Mummy gets all excited and start her massive packing for both Jie Jie & me, (Mummy's notes: Why do small people travel with large packages???) we need to apply for my passport!!!

After "struggling" for the whole of last night, Mummy & Daddy had finally chosen a cute & smiley photo of me (My Daddy says that babies' double chins are NOT unflattering)... Hopefully my photo will be accepted by ICA!!!

Not giving Mummy "Face"

Mummy was trying to talk some pics of Me looking all cute and smiley....
But she says that I'm not giving "face" to her...

Constipated face

"Bo Chap" face

"Bei Song" face

"Why are you taking my picture?" face

See, I've given Mummy so many different types of "face"... So why is she complaining???

Daddy's Little Clone

When it comes to books, Mummy says that I'm like Daddy's little clone...

Once I have a book that I like in my hands, I won't let it go until the Adults & I have read through all the stories in it... And even after that, I would still browse through the whole book once again by myself...

And tonight was a good example of that...

After Mummy & I went spent a good 45 minutes going through 6 library books (courtesy of Jackson Gor Gor) & 2 stories from the "Jobs People Do" book (almost 50 pages worth), I still hadn't satisfied my "book craving"...

And I was so upset when Mummy wanted to take a break that I cried... So in the end Por Por had to spend another 20 odd minutes with me, reading more stories from the Usborne book... ;p

Mummy's notes: Megan's Daddy, the Usborne book that you bought from Doha is a pretty good and interesting book to read and learn from (even for me). So next time try to buy more of this type of books back okie???

Desperate Times call for Desperate Measures

The freezer is completely absolutely utterly filled to the brim with Mummy Cow's frozen milk... And even with all the repacking and re-stacking, there's no way of squeezing anymore in the freezer... :(

Desperate Times call for Desperate Measures... So Mummy Cow will be bringing a box-full of frozen milk to Ah Gong's freezer for storage... ;p

Water Talk

Now you know why Megan's bath always takes so long...

Mummy Cow is Happy :)

Mummy Cow is in a good mood... Why?

Because last night I slept from 8:45pm and only woke up at 4:30am for my feed... :)

And the only reason why I "woke" up at 4:30am was because Mummy Cow needed to "relief" her build-up pressure... So she might as well feed me... ;p

Newborn Photography Session

Have just finished my 3.5 hours photography session with Kelly of "Kellysjy Photography" (http://www.kellysjyphotography.com/)

Ah See
Yi Yi, Mummy & myself have nothing but praises for Kelly and her boyfriend Mike... They were so patience, taking their time in composing my poses and at the same time, making sure that I was comfortable throughout the session...

Even when I started to fuss and cry, instead of rushing through the session, they would stop to carry me to calm me down... & when that didn't work, they waited patiently for almost 30 minutes while I was fed and comforted by Mummy & Ah See Yi Yi...

In fact they were so nice and professional that they even blink an eye when I peed into their cotton diaper cover... And the amazing thing is that Kelly is only 21 years old!!!

This is really one fantastic photography service that Mummy highly recommends!!!

We can hardly wait to see the end result of this wonderful and enjoyable photography session... :)

Say "Cheese!!!"
